Unfortunately, not every couple fans wish would be together form a adoration by the end of their story. These imagined or wished-for relationships are known as non-canon ships.

Boys Love anime, often simply referred to as BL, is a unique love affair genre that focuses solely on relationships between male characters. I mean, most of the things we ship aren't really from yuri anime but they were so obvious that it is literally marked as a yuri anime even though it's not. I imply, Touhou? Madoka? Nanoha? It just screams Gay. But is that considered a yuri anime or not?
