I couldn't agree more. I always cringe when I hear labels being thrown around on the news and such. I wouldn't want to always be prefaced with "white-female-Irish-Slovak-American." Who cares?

I also caring of wish it had just been allowed to take place instead of entity announced. As it is still a fairy tale film appropriate for juvenile audiences as skillfully as old, I'm sure whatever the big "moment" is, it's not going to be very, um, graphic, or anything, lol. And I'm also sure that it won't matter one way or another to a vast majority of the audience. There was a pretty obviously homosexual character in Frozen, too (Oaken), and look at what a blockbuster that was.

I’m not surprised that it’s such a colossal hit. I am a little surprised at the sustained effort of Christian fans to spin Frozen as some sort of Christian allegory (more on this in an upcoming post).

For now, though, I crave to address something I noted in passing in my review: the doubt of gay-culture themes in Frozen.

In my review I mentioned this issue (also noted in positive reviews by other critics) largely to dismiss it as a point of concern — not that I wasn’t aware of the themes in scrutinize, so much as that I didn’t think they warranted getting upset over. However, a indicate I overlooked earlier has just been brought to my attention that I think does warrant mention.

First, let’s acquire the broad themes out on the table.

    Frozen 2 is now in theaters, delighting audiences with a fresh adventure, new songs, endearing characters, and the reunion of Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, and Idina Menzel. On all these points, Disney is thrilling fans of Anna and Elsa. But did the studio dare provide on the demand that’s been lighting up social media for years? Did Disney give Elsa a girlfriend?

And after all these years, a publication is released focusing on Kristoff's childhood and Oaken, who during all these years never officially had anything other than a large family of relatives, now has a wife and kids. And if this scene in "Frozen 1" is of his wife with his kids, they'll have to extract one child from the photo and the blond guy because he only has one couple of kids.

    Trying to get something good from both of them:
