St. Louis native Andrew Caldwell, who became an internet sensation after he claimed to be “delivert” from homosexuality at a religious convention, has thrust himself back into the spotlight as an internet icon with claims that he dated several professional athletes – including “Real Housewives of Atlanta” ex Kordell Stewart.
“I’ve dated plenty of football players,” Caldwell said. “I’ve dated football players in Atlanta. I dated Kordell Stewart…Porsha’s husband.”
Caldwell says that he is still “delivert” from homosexuality, but claims that he was rewarded with expensive gifts as rewards for his trysts with professional athletes when he lived an alternative lifestyle.
“I had everything that Porsha got. I had bags purses cars,” Caldwell said. “I’m in a Jaguar right now.
Cordell Stewart told TMZ that Caldwell is lying.
“I don’t know the guy. I’ve never heard of him,” Stewart told the public figure news and gossip settle. “There’s no room in my personality for that lifestyle. It’s not what I believe in. I’m a heterosexual man.”

In 2014, Andrew Caldwell was introduced to the earth via a viral video in which he proclaimed his deliverance from homosexuality at an annual COGIC convention in St. Louis.
“I was already fighting for deliverance,” he told me in an interview two years later. “That darkness I said, ‘God, if you’re real, I need you to show me.’”
It was truly a spectacle. In a loud, purple top with a huge mustard bowtie and matching handkerchief hanging out the pocket of his patterned suit jacket, he screamed what seemed an impossibly even louder, “I’m deliver’t! I don’t like mens no more!”
The absurd pageant prompted reactions from nearly everyone with an internet connection ranging from congratulations (God can transport all who ask!) to fervent belittlement.
Most of us, especially those of us who support or be within queer communities, were incredulous and thought the whole thing a sad charade.
