HELLO, WE’RE LGBT FOUNDATION
We’re a national charity with LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
Celebrate our 50th Anniversary
Supported by Barefoot Wine and the Nationa 50+ and THRIVING Leah Raisor and Michelle Reed are the facilitators. This 50+ support group is a dynamic gathering planned for individuals over the age of 50 who want to explore fresh activities, learn fresh skills, and enjoy camaraderie. Through a variety of engaging events and classes provided by Tidewater Arts Outreach, members can stay active, unearth new passions, and construct lasting friendships in a fun and supportive atmosphere. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with others while embracing personal maturation and shared experiences. Ace&Aro+ Affirming Space (18+) 1st Fridays from 7:00 – 9 PM [HYBRID] aceandarospace@gmail.com Open to adults who identify as or are questioning being on the asexual and/or aromantic spectrums. Currently, we offer one back meeting a month, along with a few social events like board game nights, holiday parties, park walks, museum tours, and bookstore The Youth Well-Being program at HRC Foundation has compiled the following guide service resources for LGBTQ+ youth and families. Connect one-to-one through instant message (IM) with a peer endorse volunteer Join Peer Chat Moderated group chatrooms for youth ages 19 and younger to find community and support Join Youth Chatrooms Mon - Fri: Sat: On the LGBT National Hotline, we provide a confidential safe space where callers of any age can speak about sexual orientation or gender identity/expression issues. This includes coming out issues, relationship concerns, bullying, workplace issues, HIV/AIDS anxiety, safer sex information, suicide, and much more. Sometimes you just need to be heard. We're here. You deserve respect, support, confirmation, and acceptance. We don't give advice, and we never tell you what you should do. Ultimately, those choices are yours to make, but we are here to facilitate you on your journey. Our highly trained & committed LGBTQIA+ volunteers are here to provide free & confidential services. We offer back, information, and local resources throughout the United States and beyond. We don't inform calls to outside organizations. We answer all of our own calls, we don't outsource.
